This is our model designed specifically for the Mossberg 500A.

 

This "Pumkin Puncher" will also fit the Mossberg Maverick 88  with the 1" steel take-down screw on the front of the mag tube.

 

If you have an older-take down screw that is approximately 1/4" in width, you will need to replace it with a newer, 3/8" TDS from Mossberg or Uncle Mikes.

 

This model, the M500-L, is designed to fit a shotgun with a STAGGERED LENGTH barrel to mag tube ratio such as commonly found on Mossberg 500's with an 18.5" barrel.

 

This “Pumkin Puncher” is machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and anodized flat black. They are laser etched with our brand. A quick swipe with a black permanent ink pen will camouflage the etching if you so desire. Each unit will come with all assembly hardware, including a 1.0 ml package of VC3 Threadmate, and installation instructions. You will need a phillips screwdriver. A very easy install.

 

The "M500-L" has an OAL of 4.635", a major OD of 1.249", and a stand off length, measured from the face of the take down screw to the end of the teeth, of 4.241".
